These are different uploads! You can have:
- Both (logo in menu AND header)
- Just one (either menu or header)
- Neither (just text names)
Logo placement in menu
The logo appears where your names would normally show in the menu. Depending on your theme:
Left side: Logo on the left, menu links on the right
Center: Logo in the center, links split left and right
Right side: Menu links on the left, logo on the right
Your theme controls the exact placement!

Mobile display
Menu logos usually appear on mobile too, but might be smaller or positioned differently. Test on a phone to see how it looks!
Some themes hide the menu logo on mobile in favor of a hamburger menu icon.
Logo color considerations
Light menu backgrounds: Use a dark or colorful logo
Dark menu backgrounds: Use a light or white logo
Transparent PNGs: Let the menu background show through
Make sure your logo is visible against your menu's background color!
File formats explained
PNG: Best for logos with transparency or solid colors
SVG: Scalable vector, stays crisp at any size (best choice if you have it)
JPG: Works but doesn't support transparency (might have a background box)
GIF: Works but outdated, use PNG instead
PNG or SVG are your best options!
Testing your menu logo
After uploading:
- Visit your live wedding website
- Check the menu bar for your logo
- Make sure it's clear and readable
- Test on desktop and mobile
- Verify it looks good with your menu colors
Common issues
Logo too big: Might overflow the menu bar. Resize to 40px height.
Logo not visible: Check contrast against your menu background color.
Logo pixelated: Use a higher resolution or vector (SVG) format.
White box around logo: Use PNG or SVG with transparent background.
Branding consistency
If you're using a custom menu logo, consider using the same or similar logo:
- As your header logo
- On your invitations
- On your save-the-dates
- In your stationery
Consistent branding looks professional!
When to use a menu logo
You have a wedding logo: Already designed for invitations.
You want strong branding: Logo reinforces your wedding identity.
Visual > text: You prefer images over plain text.
Custom monogram: You've designed a beautiful monogram.
When to skip it
Text works fine: Your names look great in the menu already.
Simplicity preferred: Text is cleaner and more straightforward.
No logo designed: Don't want to spend time creating one.
Theme looks better with text: Some themes are optimized for text menus.
A custom menu logo is optional but adds a polished, branded touch to your wedding website's navigation!
