How do I format text on my website?

Use the text editor to format your content with bold, italics, links, lists, and more.

Short answer: Click into any text area to access the formatting toolbar with options for bold, italic, links, and lists.

Basic formatting options

When editing text in a paragraph or other section, you'll see a formatting toolbar with:

  • Bold (B): Make text stand out
  • Italic (I): Add emphasis
  • Underline (U): Underline text
  • Link: Add clickable links to text
  • Lists: Create bulleted or numbered lists
  • Alignment: Left, center, or right align text

Adding links to text

  1. Select the text you want to link
  2. Click the link icon in the toolbar
  3. Enter the URL
  4. Choose whether to open in a new tab
  5. Click Save or Apply

Creating lists

  1. Click in your text area
  2. Click the bullet list or numbered list icon
  3. Type your first item and press Enter
  4. Continue adding items
  5. Press Enter twice to end the list

Line breaks vs paragraphs

  • Enter: Creates a new paragraph with spacing
  • Shift + Enter: Creates a line break without extra spacing
