Adding guests to group

Learn how to assign guests to groups individually through the guest form or in bulk using multi-select for faster organization of social circles.

There are a few ways to add guests to a group, depending on how many you need to assign.

From the guest form

  1. Go to Guests in your main navigation and click on the guest
  2. In the Details tab, select the group from the Group dropdown
  3. Click Save guest

In bulk

  1. Go to Guests
  2. Select multiple guests using the checkboxes
  3. Click Edit guests
  4. Choose the group to assign
  5. Save

This is the fastest way to add a whole bunch of people to the same group.

Things to know

One group per guest. Each guest can only belong to one group at a time. If you assign a guest to a new group, they're automatically removed from the old one.

Groups need to exist first. You can only assign guests to groups that already exist. If you need a new group, create it first in the Groups section.

Tips

Use bulk assignment for efficiency. Filter your guest list first (maybe by side or household), then select everyone and assign them to a group in one go.

Think about it from the guest list. You can also see and change group assignments from your main guest list if you have the Group column turned on.
