How do I add table shapes?

WedSites does not currently offer table shape options for your seating chart.

Plan requirement: Pro plan

Short answer: The seating chart is a list-based tool for assigning guests to named tables. There are no visual table shapes (round, rectangular, etc.) or floor plan layouts.

How seating works

The seating chart in WedSites focuses on guest-to-table assignment rather than visual floor plan design:

  1. Go to Planner > Seating
  2. Click Add table to create a table
  3. Name the table to match your venue setup
  4. Drag and drop guests to assign them to tables

Naming tables to reflect your layout

While you can't set visual shapes, you can use your table names to reflect your venue layout:
- "Head table", "Round 1", "Round 2"
- "Long table A", "Square table B"
- Any naming convention that matches your venue

Tips

  • Check with your venue coordinator for the table layout and use matching names in WedSites
  • Use the print or CSV export to share your seating assignments with your venue
