Column visibility

Choose which columns appear in your checklist:

  • Category - Show or hide the task category
  • Due date - Show or hide due dates
  • Assigned to - Show or hide who's responsible for each task

Toggle each column on or off based on what information you need to see.

Grouping

Group tasks by month - When enabled, tasks are organized by their due month. This gives you a timeline-style view that helps you see what needs to happen each month leading up to your wedding.

When disabled, tasks appear in a flat list regardless of their due date.

Date display format

Choose how due dates are shown throughout your checklist:

  • Time left - Shows relative time like "today," "tomorrow," "in 2 weeks," or "asap" for overdue tasks
  • Actual due date - Shows the full date like "January 15, 2025"

The format you choose applies to due dates in your checklist view and helps you understand urgency at a glance.

Tips

Time left format is motivating. Seeing "asap" next to an overdue task is a clear signal to get on it. It creates more urgency than just seeing a past date.

Group by month for timeline planning. This gives you a sense of what needs to happen each month and helps you balance your workload.

Hide columns you don't need. If you're the only one planning, hide the "Assigned to" column to keep things clean.

Show category for organization. If you're working on a specific area (like décor or catering), the Category column helps you quickly find related tasks.

Switch between date formats. Use "Time left" when you're actively working on tasks to stay focused on urgency. Switch to "Actual due date" when coordinating with vendors who need specific dates.
