WedSites automatically generates a QR code for your collection form. Guests can scan it with their phone camera to open the form instantly. No typing long URLs!
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
Where to find the QR code
- Go to the collect details settings
- Make sure the collection form is enabled
- You'll see the QR code displayed below the collection link
- The description says "Take a photo of this code to view the collection form on your smartphone."
The QR code is generated automatically from your collection form URL. There's nothing extra to set up.
How to use it
At engagement parties or gatherings. Display the QR code on a phone or tablet and have guests scan it to fill in their details on the spot.
On printed materials. Take a screenshot and add it to save the date cards, engagement party invitations, or any other printed piece where you want guests to share their contact info.
On social media. Share a screenshot of the QR code in your stories or posts.
Individual guest QR codes
Each guest also has their own unique QR codes for their personal links (save the date, invitation, RSVP, etc.). You can find these in the Links tab of the guest form. Each link has a QR code download icon next to it.
Tips
Test it yourself first. Scan the QR code with your phone to make sure it opens the right form and everything looks good.
Make it visible. If you're printing the QR code, make sure it's big enough to scan easily. Small QR codes can be tricky.
Combine with the link. Share both the QR code and the direct link so guests have options.
