Deleting a question
Learn how to permanently remove an RSVP question and understand that all submitted answers for that question will also be deleted (Standard or Pro plan).
If you no longer need an RSVP question, you can remove it. Just be aware that deleting a question also removes all the answers guests have submitted for it.
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
How to delete a question
- Go to RSVP > Questions
- Click on the question you want to remove
- Click Delete question
- Confirm when prompted
You'll see a confirmation: "Question was successfully deleted."
Note: You can only delete a question if no answers have been submitted for it. If guests have already answered, you may need to handle this differently.
What gets deleted
- The question itself
- All submitted answers for that question
- Any column display settings for that question in the guest list
Tips
Think before deleting. If guests have already answered this question, those responses will be lost permanently.
Edit instead of delete. If you just need to change the wording, edit the question rather than deleting and recreating it.
