How WedSites works
The complete workflow from creating your account through launching your wedding website and managing guests.
WedSites brings your entire wedding planning process into one organized dashboard. Here's what that actually looks like day-to-day.
Your wedding dashboard
When you log in, you see your private planning dashboard. This is your command center, a snapshot of everything happening with your wedding. Guest counts, budget status, upcoming tasks, recent RSVP responses. Everything you need to know at a glance.
From this dashboard, you access all your tools: website builder, guest list, budget tracker, vendor contacts, timeline, and more. No jumping between different websites or apps. It's all right here.
Building your wedding website
Start with a professionally designed theme, then customize it to match your style. Change colors, upload photos, write your story. Add pages for travel information, accommodations, your love story, whatever you want to share with guests.
The builder is visual and intuitive. You see your changes as you make them. No coding required, but if you want more control, advanced customization options are available.
Managing your guest list
Add your guests once, then use that information everywhere. When someone RSVPs, their response automatically updates across your entire system, including seating chart, guest counts, meal choices, and everything else.
Organize guests into groups (family, friends, work colleagues), track households, manage plus-ones, note dietary requirements. Export your list anytime you need it for vendors or your venue.
Collecting RSVPs
Your RSVP form lives on your website. Guests click a link, enter their information, and submit their response. You see everything in real-time in your dashboard.
Add custom questions for meal choices, song requests, dietary restrictions, whatever you need to know. Set deadlines, send reminders, track who hasn't responded yet.
Planning and organizing
Use the budget tracker to monitor spending across all your wedding categories. Check off tasks on your wedding checklist. Save vendor contacts and track payments. Build your seating chart visually. Create your wedding day timeline.
These tools aren't mandatory. Use what helps you and ignore what doesn't. Everything is designed to make planning easier, not more complicated.
Sending invitations
Create digital save-the-dates and invitations using your website design. Add your guest list, customize the wording, and send. Track who opened emails and who clicked through to your website.
Or skip the digital invitations and just use the RSVP system. It's flexible to match how you want to work.
Sharing with your team
Give your partner, wedding party, or planner access to your dashboard. Set permissions so they can help with specific tasks without accessing everything. Collaborate without confusion.
The practical workflow
Most couples start by picking their website design and adding basic information. Then they add their guest list and set up RSVPs. As the wedding gets closer, they use the planning tools more actively, including budgets, seating charts, and timelines.
You can work at your own pace. Spend an afternoon setting everything up, or spread it over weeks. The platform adapts to however you want to work.
