How it works
The total estimated is simply the sum of all estimated costs across every budget item. As you add, edit, or remove items, the total updates automatically.
Where you see it
- In your budget list as a grand total row
- In your planner dashboard budget widget
- In category subtotals (estimated per category)
Tips
Set estimates for every item. Missing estimates mean your total is lower than reality. Fill in all your budget items for an accurate picture.
Review regularly. As plans evolve, update your estimates to keep the total realistic.
