Can families RSVP together?
Don't want each family member to have to RSVP one by one? Household management makes it easy for families to respond together.
Short answer: Yes! With household management, families can submit one RSVP that covers everyone in their household. No need for each family member to RSVP separately.
How household RSVPs work
WedSites lets you group guests into households. When one person from a household goes to RSVP, they'll see everyone in their household listed together. They can respond for the whole family in one go, including individual answers for each person where needed.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
- You group family members into a household (like the Smith family).
- One family member looks up their name on the RSVP page.
- They see all household members listed and can accept or decline for each person.
- They fill in any per-guest details (like meal choices) for everyone.
- They submit one RSVP that covers the entire household.
Individual responses still tracked
Even though the RSVP is submitted together, WedSites tracks each guest's response individually. So you'll still know exactly who's coming and who's not, along with their individual meal choices, dietary requirements, and answers to any custom questions.
Great for families with kids
Household RSVPs are especially helpful for families with children. Parents can handle the RSVP for their kids without needing to submit multiple forms. It saves time and reduces confusion.
Available on Standard and Pro
Household management and household RSVPs are available on Standard and Pro plans. You can create as many households as you need.
Tips
- Set up your households before sending out invitations so everything is ready when guests go to RSVP.
- Use households for couples and families, but keep solo guests as individual entries.
- Double-check your household groupings to make sure the right people are grouped together before going live.
