Viewing email analytics

Learn how to track email delivery, opens, and clicks to see how your guests interact with your messages.

After sending emails, WedSites tracks how your guests interact with them. See who opened your email, who clicked, and who might need a follow-up.

Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan

Accessing analytics

  1. Go to Sending in your main navigation
  2. Go to the Tracking overview section
  3. Browse your sent email statistics

What you can see

Overview stats

  • Sent - Total emails sent
  • Delivered - Successfully delivered to inbox
  • Opened - How many guests opened the email
  • Clicked - How many guests clicked a link or button

Filtering by time

Filter your tracking data by:
- Last 24 hours
- Last 7 days
- Last 4 weeks
- Last 3 months
- Last 12 months

Filtering by type

View tracking for specific email types (save the dates, invitations, reminders, etc.).

Individual recipient details

Click into a sent email to see per-recipient tracking:
- Whether each guest's email was delivered
- Whether they opened it
- Whether they clicked a link
- Delivery status and any error messages

Recipient statuses

  • Sent - Email has been sent, waiting for delivery confirmation
  • Delivered - Email was successfully delivered
  • Failed - Email bounced or delivery failed
  • Opened - Guest opened the email
  • Unopened - Delivered but not yet opened
  • Clicked - Guest clicked a link in the email
  • Not clicked - Opened but didn't click

Tips

Follow up on unopened emails. If a guest hasn't opened their invitation after a week, they might not have seen it. Consider resending or reaching out directly.

Low open rates? Check if emails are going to spam. Ask a few guests to check their spam folders and mark your emails as "not spam."

Track over time. Check back regularly to see how your open and click rates improve as guests catch up on their emails.
