Configuring plus-ones
Learn how to allow specific guests or all guests to bring an additional person to your wedding and manage plus-one privileges through individual settings or global RSVP configuration.
Plus-ones let specific guests bring an additional person to your wedding. You can control this per guest, or allow it for everyone at once through your RSVP settings.
Allowing a plus-one for a specific guest
- Go to Guests in your main navigation
- Click on the guest
- Check the Add a +1 box (the label says "Allow this guest to bring another person")
- Click Save guest
The guest can now bring one additional person. When they RSVP online, they'll be able to add their plus-one's name.
Removing a plus-one
- Click on the guest
- Uncheck the Add a +1 box
- Click Save guest
Allowing plus-ones for all guests
If you want every guest to be able to bring a plus-one, you don't have to check the box for each person individually. Go to your RSVP settings and enable plus-ones for everyone. When this is turned on, you'll see a note on the guest form saying: "All guests are allowed to add +1s. You can change this setting in RSVP settings."
How plus-ones appear
In your guest list, guests with a plus-one enabled will show a +1 badge next to their name (if you have the +1 column turned on in your guest settings).
Your guest count stats will include plus-ones in the total, so you always have an accurate headcount.
Tips
Be intentional. Plus-ones can add up fast. If your venue has limited capacity, consider being selective about who gets one.
Single guests usually appreciate it. If someone won't know many people at your wedding, a plus-one can make them feel more comfortable.
The +1 column helps. Turn on the +1 column in your guest settings so you can quickly see who has plus-one privileges.
