Translating RSVP questions
Learn how to translate question titles, descriptions, answer options, and "Other" field labels so guests see RSVP questions in their preferred language (Pro plan).
If your wedding website supports multiple languages, you can translate your RSVP questions so guests see them in their preferred language.
Plan requirement: Pro plan
What you can translate
For each question, you can provide translations for:
- Question title - The main question text
- Description - The optional helper text below the question
- Options 1-6 - All answer choices (for Multiple choice and Dropdown questions)
- "Other" option label - The text for the free-field option
How to translate
- Go to your RSVP questions
- Edit the question you want to translate
- Find the translation fields for each language you've set up
- Enter translated text for each field
- Save your changes
If a translation is left blank, guests will see the default language version.
Tips
Write in your own words. Rather than using direct translations, consider rewriting content in your own voice for each language. This makes your RSVP questions feel more personal and authentic.
Translate all options. If you translate the question title, make sure to also translate the answer options. A question in French with English options would be confusing.
Be consistent. Use the same level of formality across all your translations.
Check with native speakers. If you're not fluent, have someone check your translations to make sure they sound natural.
Test each language. Preview your RSVP form in each language to make sure everything reads well.
