Editing a wedding party section
Introduce your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and wedding party members with photos, roles, and personal bios.
Wedding party sections let you introduce your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other important people in your wedding. Show off your crew!
What you can do with wedding wedding party sections
Introduce your wedding party members with photos and bios.
Share their roles like Maid of Honor, Best Man, or Bridesmaid.
Add photos of each person.
Write little bios to tell guests about them.
Include custom calligraphy for styled section headings.
Adding a wedding wedding party section
- Go to Site in your main navigation
- Click Add a new section
- Choose Wedding party from the list
- Fill in the person's details
- Click Save changes
Fields you can edit
Role: Their title in your wedding party. Like "Maid of Honor", "Best Man", "Bridesmaid", "Groomsman", "Officiant", etc.
Name: The person's name.
Introduction: A short bio about them. How you know them, fun facts, whatever you want to share.
Photo: Their picture. Could be a solo shot or a photo with you.
Custom calligraphy: Upload an image to replace the role name with styled text.
Creating your wedding wedding party section
Add one wedding party section per person. If you have 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, that's 10 wedding party sections.
List them in order. Usually by importance (honor attendants first) or alphabetically.
Keep bios consistent. If you write 3 sentences for one person, try to do the same for everyone.
Using photos
Photos make the wedding wedding party section way more fun. You can:
- Click Upload photo
- Choose an image (200x200 pixels works well for square photos)
- The photo displays with their name and bio
To change or remove it, click Delete photo.
Photo tips:
- Use similar style photos for everyone (all color or all black and white)
- Square photos usually look best
- Make sure everyone gets the same treatment
Writing introductions
Keep bios short and sweet:
How you know them: "My college roommate" or "We've been friends since kindergarten".
Fun facts: "She introduced us!" or "He can juggle. Seriously."
Their personality: "Always up for an adventure" or "The most loyal friend".
What they mean to you: "I couldn't imagine this day without her".
A few sentences is perfect. You're introducing them to guests, not writing their biography!
Choosing roles
Common roles you might use:
Maid of Honor / Matron of Honor
Best Man
Bridesmaid
Groomsman
Flower Girl
Ring Bearer
Officiant
Reader
Usher
Use whatever titles make sense for your wedding party!
Using custom calligraphy
Want styled text for roles?

- Your image replaces the role text
To remove it, click Delete custom calligraphy.
Tips for wedding wedding party sections
Include everyone. If someone's in your wedding party, they should be on your site.
Keep it balanced. Try to give everyone similar length bios and similar quality photos.
Be genuine. Write from the heart. Guests love hearing why these people are special to you.
Proofread names. Double check spelling! This is important.
Update if needed. If someone drops out or you add someone, update your site.
Organizing your wedding party
Use a heading first. Add a heading section like "Our Wedding Party" before your wedding party sections.
Group by side. You might do all bridesmaids together, then all groomsmen.
Or group by role. Honor attendants first, then bridesmaids and groomsmen, then flower girls and ring bearers.
Whatever makes sense! There's no wrong way to organize it.

What if you don't have a wedding party?
No wedding party? No problem! You can skip this entirely.
Or use wedding party sections to introduce other important people like your parents, grandparents, or the people officiating your wedding.
Customizing wedding party sections
You can also customize:
Space above and below: Adjust padding around each person.
Colors: Change colors for the section.
Privacy: Make wedding party sections visible to everyone or just certain guests.
These options are in the section editor.
Wedding wedding party sections are fun! They help guests get to know the people standing up with you and make everyone feel included.
