Adding another wedding
Learn how to create additional wedding accounts under your user account for planning multiple weddings or events.
You can have multiple wedding accounts under one WedSites user account. This is useful if you're a wedding planner managing multiple clients, or if you're planning more than one wedding (like a destination wedding and a local reception).
How to add another wedding
- Look for the option to add a new wedding in your account menu or dashboard
- Click to create a new wedding
- Enter the details for the new wedding (names, date, etc.)
- Your new wedding account is created
You can switch between your wedding accounts from your account menu.
Each wedding is separate
Separate content: Each wedding has its own website, guest list, RSVP responses, and planning data. Nothing is shared between weddings.
Separate plans: Each wedding account has its own plan. If you upgrade one wedding to Pro, your other weddings are not automatically upgraded. Each one needs to be upgraded separately.
Separate settings: Each wedding has its own subdomain, design, and configuration.
Plans are per wedding
This is important to understand: plans are not shared across your weddings.
If you have three wedding accounts and want Pro features on all of them, you'll need to upgrade each one individually. Upgrading one wedding to Pro doesn't upgrade the others.
This also means you can have different plans for different weddings. For example:
- One wedding on Pro (full planning features)
- Another wedding on Standard (just RSVP features)
- A third on Basic (website only)
Why you might have multiple weddings
Wedding planners: Manage multiple client weddings from one user account.
Multiple events: If you're having separate celebrations (like a destination wedding and a hometown reception), each can have its own site.
Helping others: If you're helping plan a friend's or family member's wedding in addition to your own.
Starting fresh: If you want to start over with a completely new design rather than editing your existing wedding.
Switching between weddings
Once you have multiple weddings, you can switch between them from your account menu. Each wedding has its own dashboard, settings, and content.
Tips
Keep weddings organized. Give each wedding a clear name so you can easily identify which is which.
Remember separate upgrades. If you need Pro features on a new wedding, you'll need to upgrade that specific wedding account.
You can delete weddings individually. Deleting one wedding account doesn't affect your other weddings or your user account.
