Viewing and managing RSVP responses

Learn how to track all RSVP responses including guest statuses, event attendance, custom question answers, dietary requirements summaries, and response dates (Standard or Pro plan).

As guests respond to your RSVP, you can see all their answers in one place. Track who's coming, who's not, and what they said.

Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan

Viewing responses

  1. Go to RSVP > Responses
  2. You'll see a list of all guests who have responded

What you can see

Response summary - An overview of your RSVP numbers: how many confirmed, declined, and still waiting.

Individual responses - Each guest's answers including:
- Their RSVP status (Confirmed/Declined)
- When they responded
- Event attendance (if you have multiple events)
- Answers to your custom questions
- Dietary requirements
- Any message they left

Dietary requirements summary - A breakdown of all dietary requirements across your guest list. Super handy for sharing with your caterer.

Filtering responses

You can filter responses by status to quickly see:
- All responses
- Confirmed guests only
- Declined guests only
- Guests who haven't responded yet

Understanding incomplete responses

Sometimes you'll see guests who have confirmed their attendance but haven't answered all your custom questions. This happens because the RSVP form saves progress as guests go, so if someone confirms they're coming but then closes the tab before finishing the questions, you'll have their attendance but not their other answers.

This usually indicates:
- The guest got interrupted or distracted
- They intended to come back and finish
- They may not have realized there were more questions

What to do: A gentle follow-up works well. Let them know there are a few more questions on the RSVP form when they have a moment. Most guests are happy to complete it, they just need a friendly reminder.

Tips

Check regularly. Pop in every few days to see new responses and track your progress toward your headcount goal.

Share dietary info with your caterer. The dietary summary is one of the most useful things for your vendors. Export or print it.

Follow up on non-responses. As your deadline approaches, use the list of unconfirmed guests to know who needs a nudge.

Follow up on incomplete responses too. If someone confirmed attendance but didn't answer your questions about meals or transportation, reach out kindly. They probably just got sidetracked.
