Deleting recommended task
Learn how to delete recommended tasks that don't apply to your wedding, with the option to recover them later.
Recommended tasks (the pre-loaded ones from WedSites) are soft-deleted when removed. This means you can recover them later if you change your mind.
Plan requirement: Pro plan
How to delete
- Click on the recommended task
- Click Delete task
- Confirm when prompted
The task is removed from your active checklist but can be recovered.
Recovering a deleted recommended task
If you change your mind, look for the Recover task option to bring it back. See our article on recovering deleted tasks for details.
Tips
Delete what doesn't apply. If a recommended task doesn't fit your wedding (like "Book florist" when you're doing DIY flowers), go ahead and delete it. You can always bring it back.
