How do I delete my account?

Permanently remove your WedSites wedding account and all associated data.

Short answer: Go to Settings > Account, scroll to the bottom, and click Delete account. This action is permanent.

Deleting your account

  1. Go to Settings > Account
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Click the Delete account button
  4. Confirm you want to proceed
  5. Your wedding account is permanently deleted

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, everything is removed:
- Your wedding website
- All guest data and households
- RSVP responses
- Ecards and designs
- Budget, tasks, and planning data
- Seating charts
- User access for all team members

This cannot be undone.

Before you delete

Make sure to:
- Export your guest list and RSVP data
- Print your guestbook entries
- Download any designs or content you want to keep
- Let your partner or other users know

Alternatives to deleting

Consider these options instead:
- Leave it inactive: Your site stays up until hosting expires, and WedSites uses one-time payments so there's no ongoing cost
- Export your data: Download everything important, then decide later
- Keep it as a memory page: Many couples leave their wedding website up as a keepsake
