Adding a single guest
Learn how to add individual guests to your wedding list with just a first name, or include additional details like email, household, and plus-ones right from the start.
Ready to start building your guest list? Adding guests one at a time is the easiest way to get started, and you can always add more later.
How to add a guest
- Go to Guests in your main navigation and click Add guest
- Type in their First name (only required field) and fill in other details as desired
- Click Save guest
That's it! Your guest is now on the list.
Want to keep adding?
If you've got a bunch of people to add, click Save and add more instead of Save guest. This saves the current guest and opens a fresh form so you can keep going without having to click Add guest again each time.
What you can fill in right away
When you're adding a new guest, here's what you can include:
First name - Required. This is the only field you have to fill in.
Last name - Optional, but handy for keeping track of people with common first names.
Household - You can add this guest to an existing household right away using the Add to existing household link. Great for couples, families, or roommates who share an address.
Add a +1 - Check this box if you want to allow this guest to bring another person. The label says "Allow this guest to bring another person."
Don't worry about filling everything in at once
You really don't have to add every detail right now. A first name is enough to get someone on your list. You can always come back and add their email, phone number, dietary requirements, group, and everything else later.
Tips
Start simple. Add names first, details later. Getting everyone on your list is the most important step.
Use Save and add more. It's way faster when you're adding a lot of guests in a row.
Household first. If you're adding a couple or family, consider creating the household first, then adding guests to it. Or just add them one at a time and group them into a household later.
