How do I add accommodation information?

Help out-of-town guests by sharing hotel recommendations and lodging information on your wedding website.

Short answer: Add a Place section or create a Travel/Accommodations page with hotel details and booking links.

Adding accommodation details

  1. Go to Site > Builder
  2. Create a new page by clicking Add page and naming it "Travel" or "Accommodations"
  3. Add Place sections for each hotel or accommodation option
  4. Include booking links and any room block information
  5. Click Save

Information to include

For each accommodation option:
- Hotel name and address
- Phone number
- Website or booking link
- Room block code (if you've reserved a block)
- Room block deadline
- Price range
- Distance from venue

Setting up a room block

If you've arranged a room block:
1. Clearly state the block name or code
2. Include the booking deadline
3. Provide direct contact information
4. Mention any special rate or perks
5. Add a direct link if online booking is available

Tips

  • Offer options at different price points
  • Mention the distance and driving time to your venue
  • Include parking information
  • Add local Airbnb or VRBO as alternatives
  • Note any shuttle service you're providing
  • Update deadlines as they approach
