How do I add accommodation information?
Help out-of-town guests by sharing hotel recommendations and lodging information on your wedding website.
Short answer: Add a Place section or create a Travel/Accommodations page with hotel details and booking links.
Adding accommodation details
- Go to Site > Builder
- Create a new page by clicking Add page and naming it "Travel" or "Accommodations"
- Add Place sections for each hotel or accommodation option
- Include booking links and any room block information
- Click Save
Information to include
For each accommodation option:
- Hotel name and address
- Phone number
- Website or booking link
- Room block code (if you've reserved a block)
- Room block deadline
- Price range
- Distance from venue
Setting up a room block
If you've arranged a room block:
1. Clearly state the block name or code
2. Include the booking deadline
3. Provide direct contact information
4. Mention any special rate or perks
5. Add a direct link if online booking is available
Tips
- Offer options at different price points
- Mention the distance and driving time to your venue
- Include parking information
- Add local Airbnb or VRBO as alternatives
- Note any shuttle service you're providing
- Update deadlines as they approach
