Viewing your live site
See exactly what your guests will see by opening your wedding website in a new browser tab.
While the builder preview shows you how your site looks as you work, viewing your live site lets you experience it exactly as your guests will - in a regular browser window without any editing tools.
How to view your live site
- In the website builder, find the View site button in the toolbar at the top right
- Click View site
Your wedding website opens in a new browser tab, showing the public-facing version of your site.
Difference between preview and live site
Builder preview:
- Shows your site inside the editing interface
- Updates automatically as you make changes
- Includes editing tools and buttons
- Only visible to you
Live site:
- Opens in a regular browser window
- Shows exactly what guests see
- No editing interface or builder tools
- Accessible at your wedding URL
When guests can see your site
Whether guests can access your live site depends on your publish settings:
Site published:
- Your live site is accessible to anyone with your URL
- Guests can visit and view all published pages
- Updates you make appear immediately
Site not published:
- Only you can view the site (when logged in)
- Guests who try to visit will see a "not published" message
- You can still view the live site to check how it looks
Why view your live site
Viewing your live site helps you:
- Test the guest experience - See your site without editing tools

- Verify on actual devices - Open your live site on your phone or tablet
- Share with others - Send the link to your partner or wedding party

The View site button opens your homepage. To view other pages:
- Click View site to open your homepage
- Use the navigation menu on your live site to visit other pages
- Or, click a different page tab in the builder before clicking View site
