How do I use the wedding checklist?

Track your wedding planning progress with a checklist of tasks to complete.

Plan requirement: Pro plan

Short answer: Go to Planner > Checklist to see recommended tasks, mark them complete, and add your own.

Using the checklist

  1. Go to Planner > Checklist
  2. See pre-populated tasks organized by timeline
  3. Check off tasks as you complete them
  4. Click Add task to add custom tasks

How tasks are organized

Tasks may be organized by:
- Timeline: 12+ months out, 6 months, 3 months, etc.
- Category: Venue, attire, vendors, guests, etc.
- Priority: Must-do vs nice-to-have

Working with tasks

Completing tasks:
- Click to mark as done
- Track your progress percentage
- Move to the next priority

Adding custom tasks:
- Click Add task
- Enter task name
- Set due date if desired
- Assign to a category
- Click Save

Common wedding tasks

Sample tasks by timeframe:

12+ months:
- Set budget
- Book venue
- Choose wedding party

6-9 months:
- Book photographer
- Send save the dates
- Start guest list

3-6 months:
- Order dress
- Book other vendors
- Plan honeymoon

1-3 months:
- Send invitations
- Final fittings
- Get marriage license
