How do I set payment reminders?

Get email notifications before vendor payments are due so you never miss a deadline.

Plan requirement: Pro plan

Short answer: Add due dates to your payments in Planner > Budget, and you'll receive email reminders before payments are due. You can manage notification preferences in your user settings.

Adding payment due dates

  1. Go to Planner > Budget or Vendors
  2. Add or edit a payment
  3. Set the due date
  4. Save the payment

Viewing upcoming payments

To see what's coming due:
1. Check your budget dashboard
2. Look for upcoming payments section
3. Filter by due date
4. See what needs to be paid soon

How email reminders work

When you add payment due dates:
- You'll receive email notifications to the account owner before payments are due
- Reminders are sent automatically based on the due date
- You can opt out of payment reminder emails in your user settings (Settings > Users > your profile)
- View all upcoming payments in your budget dashboard

Managing notification preferences

To adjust payment reminder emails:
1. Go to Settings > Users
2. Click on your user profile
3. Manage notification settings
4. Save your preferences

Tips

  • Add all payment due dates when you book
  • Check upcoming payments weekly
  • Pay a few days early to be safe
  • Note payment method requirements (check vs card)
  • Keep confirmation of payments made
