Managing guest event attendance

Learn how to track which guests are attending each of your wedding events and filter your list to see confirmed attendance for specific ceremonies, receptions, or parties.

If your wedding has multiple events (like a ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, or welcome party), you can track which guests are attending each one.

Setting event attendance

  1. Go to Guests in your main navigation
  2. Click on the guest
  3. Go to the RSVP tab
  4. Under the events section, you'll see each of your events listed
  5. For each event, set the status:
    • Confirmed - Guest is attending this event
    • Declined - Guest is not attending this event
    • Unconfirmed - Waiting for a response
  6. Click Save guest

You can also click Update events as guest to open the guest-facing view and update their attendance as if you were the guest.

Automatic updates from RSVP

If you've set up online RSVPs with multiple events, guests can indicate which events they're attending when they RSVP. Their event attendance updates automatically based on their response.

Viewing event attendance in your guest list

You can add event columns to your guest list to see at a glance who's coming to each event:

  1. Click Guest settings at the top of your guest list
  2. Under the Events section, check the box for each event you want to see
  3. Click Save changes

Each event gets its own column showing the guest's attendance status.

Filtering by event

Want to see who's confirmed for a specific event?

  1. Click Filter guests
  2. Under Events, select the event and status combination you want (like "Reception: Confirmed" or "Rehearsal dinner: Unconfirmed")
  3. Click Apply filters

Setting up events

Before you can track event attendance, you need to create your events in the RSVP section. Check out our article on adding a wedding event for the setup steps.

Tips

Not all guests go to every event. Some events might be limited to close family or the wedding party. Use event restrictions to control who sees which events in the RSVP form.

Watch the confirmed counts. Event attendance counts help you give accurate numbers to each venue.

Use the columns. Adding event columns to your guest list gives you a quick overview without clicking into each guest.
