Switching between mobile and desktop preview

Toggle between mobile and desktop views to see how your wedding website looks on different devices.

Your wedding website automatically adapts to different screen sizes. The builder preview lets you switch between desktop and mobile views so you can see exactly how your site will look to guests on phones, tablets, and computers.

How to toggle the preview

  1. In the website builder, look at the bottom right corner of the preview area
  2. Click the device icon button (shows multiple devices)
  3. The preview switches to mobile view

The page tabs will show Previewing mobile to indicate you're in mobile mode.

Switching back to desktop view

Click the device icon again to return to the desktop preview. The Previewing mobile label disappears.

What changes in mobile view

When you switch to mobile preview, you'll see:

  • Narrower layout - Content stacks vertically to fit phone screens
  • Adjusted navigation - Menu may collapse into a hamburger icon
  • Responsive images - Images scale to fit smaller screens
  • Optimized text - Font sizes adjust for readability on mobile

Why preview both views

Most of your wedding guests will visit your site on their phones. Switching between views helps you:

  • Make sure content looks good on all devices
  • Check that text is readable on small screens
  • Verify images display properly on mobile
  • Ensure buttons and links are easy to tap
  • See how your navigation menu adapts

Design tips for mobile

As you build your site, toggle to mobile preview to check:

  • Image sizes - Large images should still look good when scaled down
  • Text length - Long paragraphs are harder to read on phones
  • Button placement - Make sure buttons are easy to tap with a thumb
  • Section spacing - Some spacing might look different on mobile

Using mobile preview with full screen

You can combine mobile preview with full screen mode:

  1. Click the device icon to switch to mobile view
  2. Click Full screen to maximize the mobile preview
  3. See your mobile site in more detail

Tips

Check mobile view for every page. Don't just preview your homepage - click through all your page tabs in mobile mode.

Mobile comes first for most guests. Even if you design primarily on desktop, always check mobile before publishing changes.

Test navigation carefully. Make sure guests can easily find and access all your pages on mobile.
