How it works
The total actual is the sum of all actual costs across every budget item. If a budget item has payments, the actual cost may be calculated from the total of paid and unpaid amounts.
The difference
The difference between total estimated and total actual shows whether you're:
- Under budget - Actual is less than estimated (positive difference)
- Over budget - Actual exceeds estimated (negative difference)
Tips
