Custom layout sections vs other types

Try specific section types first. They're designed for common use cases and usually look better.

Use custom when you need flexibility. If no standard section works, custom gives you options.

Don't overthink it. Custom layout sections aren't necessarily better. They're just more flexible when you need it.

Customizing custom layout sections

You can also customize:

Space above and below: Adjust padding around the section.

Colors: Change text and background colors.

Privacy: Make the section visible to everyone or just certain guests.

Page assignment: Choose which page the section appears on.

These options are in the section editor.

Custom layout sections give you the freedom to build exactly what you need when standard section types don't quite fit. Use them when you need that extra flexibility!
