- Customize field labels
- Set visibility of new entries (Public or Private)

See our articles on "Customizing guestbook field labels" and "Making guestbook private" for more details!
Public vs private entries
The visibility setting controls whether new entries are:
Public:
- Visible to all website visitors
- Guests can see each other's messages
- Creates a shared memory wall
Private (admin only):
- Only you (and other admins) can see entries
- Guests don't see each other's submissions
- You can review before making individual entries public
Note: The visibility setting in guestbook settings applies to NEW entries only. Existing entries keep their current visibility.
To change visibility of existing entries, you'd need to edit each entry individually (if that feature is available in the entry edit form).
Viewing with languages (Pro plan)
If you have multiple languages enabled:
Language dropdown:
- Appears in the header
- Shows current language
- Select different language to view entries in that language
Translations button:

- Button label: "Translations"
Switch between languages to see all entries!

3. Share your website link with guests
4. Wait for entries to come in!

Getting more entries
To encourage guests to leave messages:
- Make your guestbook section prominent
- Add it to your navigation menu
- Ask for specific kinds of messages (advice, favorite memories, etc.)
- Mention it in emails or invitations
- Respond to entries publicly (if appropriate)
The more you highlight it, the more entries you'll get!
Viewing guestbook entries lets you read all the heartfelt messages and see all the photos your guests have shared. It's one of the sweetest parts of having a wedding website!
