Previewing save the date
Learn how to preview your save the date ecard exactly as guests will see it before sending to ensure text, images, and design all look perfect (Standard or Pro plan).
Always preview your save the date before sending it to make sure everything looks perfect. The preview shows exactly what your guests will see.
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
How to preview
- Go to Ecards in your main navigation
- Select your save the date
- Click the preview option
- Your save the date opens in a preview view
What to check
- Text content - Make sure all names, dates, and messages read correctly
- Image - Check that your photo looks good and isn't cropped awkwardly
- Colors - Verify text is readable against the background
- Fonts - Make sure font choices look good together
- Layout - Check spacing and alignment
- QR code - If enabled, make sure it's visible and scannable
Ecards are always current
Remember that when guests click the link in their email, they see the current version of your ecard. If you make changes after sending, all guests will see the updated version, not the version from when you sent the email.
This is helpful if you need to fix a typo or update details, but be mindful that any changes will be visible to everyone.
Tips
Preview on mobile too. Your guests might view the save the date on their phone. Check how it looks on a smaller screen.
Send a test first. Before sending to all your guests, send a test to yourself to see the full email experience.
Check every detail. While you can fix typos later (since ecards are always current), it's best to catch them before sending.
Preview after any changes. If you edit your ecard after sending emails, preview it again to make sure it still looks perfect.
