Uploading a custom stationery image
Learn how to upload your own custom stationery design for your save the date ecard if you've created one using a design tool (Standard or Pro plan).
If you've designed your own save the date using Canva, Photoshop, or another design tool, you can upload it to display instead of the built-in templates.
Plan requirement: Standard or Pro plan
How to upload a custom stationery image
- Go to Ecards in your main navigation
- Select your save the date
- Go to the Design tab
- Look for the Custom stationery image section
- Click Upload custom stationery image
- Select your image file (PNG, GIF, or JPEG)
- Click Save changes
Use as background option
After uploading your image, you'll see a checkbox option:
Use as background - When enabled, your custom image is used as the background of the ecard. The template text and content overlay on top of it.
This is useful if you want to use your own background design while still using the template's text layout.
Deleting a custom image
To remove your custom stationery image and go back to the template:
- Go to your save the date's Design tab
- Find your uploaded image
- Click Delete
- Click Save changes
Tips
Design to the right dimensions. Check your template's proportions and design your custom stationery to match for the best results.
Test before sending. Preview your ecard with the custom image to make sure text is readable and everything looks right.
Keep a backup. Save your original design file in case you need to make adjustments later.
