Showing or hiding a page for specific events or groups
Control which pages are visible for different guest groups or wedding events so guests only see relevant information.
You can control which pages show based on guest groups or event invitations. Guests see only what's relevant to them!
What this does
Shows different pages to guests in different groups or events.
Keeps content relevant. Wedding party sees VIP info, ceremony guests see ceremony info.
Organizes complex weddings. Multiple groups and events with different guest lists? No problem.
Reduces information overload. Guests don't see pages that aren't meant for them.

How guests experience it
After they check in: Once guests check in, your site knows their group and event invitations.
Personalized navigation: They see only pages meant for them in the navigation menu.
Relevant content: They don't get confused by information that isn't meant for them.
Tips
Test as different guests. Preview your site as test guests in different groups or events to see what they'd see.
Keep some pages universal. Your registry, couple's story, and general travel info probably should show to everyone.
Name pages clearly. "Saturday Ceremony" and "Wedding Party Info" are clearer than generic names.
Don't overdo it. If you have too many private pages, navigation gets overwhelming.
Groups vs. events. Use groups when visibility is based on who someone is (family, wedding party). Use events when it's based on what they're attending (ceremony, reception).
Removing restrictions
To make a page visible to everyone again:
- Go to page settings
- Click Make public
- Click Save
Now everyone sees the page!
Pages vs. sections
Private pages: Hide entire pages based on groups or events.
Private sections: Hide individual sections within a page based on groups or events.
You can use either approach, or both! Maybe you have one page with private sections for different groups, or separate pages for each group. Whatever makes sense!
Navigation menus
As guests view your site, the navigation menu adjusts automatically. They only see links to pages they have access to. This keeps everything clean and relevant!
