Extending your hosting

Need more time? You can extend your hosting at any time to keep your wedding website live, whether your hosting is still active or has already expired.

Short answer: Go to Settings > Hosting and choose either 1 month or 12 months. You can adjust the quantity at checkout to extend for multiple months or years in one go. It's a one-time payment with no subscription or auto-renewal.

How to extend

  1. Go to Settings in your main navigation
  2. Click Hosting
  3. Choose your preferred option:
    • 1 month for a quick extension
    • 12 months for the best value (50% savings)
  4. Complete payment through Stripe

Your hosting is extended immediately after payment. If your site was offline, it comes back online right away.

Pricing

Hosting extensions are a one-time payment, just like your original plan. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

The 12-month option saves you 50% compared to paying monthly. Prices are shown in your account's currency at checkout.

Extending for multiple months or years

At checkout, you can adjust the quantity to extend for longer in a single purchase. For example:

  • 2x 12 months = 2 years of hosting for $120
  • 5x 12 months = 5 years of hosting for $300
  • 3x 1 month = 3 months of hosting for $30

You can purchase up to 10 of either option at once, giving you up to 10 years of hosting in one transaction.

How extensions work

  • Extensions add time onto your current hosting period. If your hosting hasn't expired yet, the new months are added to the end of your existing period.
  • If your hosting has already expired, the new months start from today.
  • You can also purchase extensions more than once. They stack, so there's no limit to how far out you can extend.

After your wedding

Many couples keep their wedding website live after the big day as a keepsake and memory of their celebration. Extending hosting lets you preserve your site, guest list, photos, and everything else you put together.

Tips

  • If you're extending for 6 months or more, the 12-month option is a better deal at $5/mo compared to $10/mo for the monthly option.
  • You can extend before or after your hosting expires. There's no penalty for extending late.
  • After hosting expires, your account is marked for deletion and will be permanently removed within 12 months. Extend before then to keep your data.
